Ever wondered how to make bullet points in Notepad?
Well here is the way. Press & hold Alt button and enter any of the numbers below from the numeric keypad at the extreme right of your keyboard (not the number keys below the function buttons), then release the Alt button.
4, 7, 8, 9, 10, 16, 175, 249, 250, 254, 0149
You will get different styles of bullets depending on the number you choose. Choose whichever style suits you. Your font setting in Notepad would also affect which kind of bullet style appear upon entering the above numbers in your Notepad document.

How do you make bullet points if you only have numbers below the function keys? Or is it not possible?

ReplyDeleteI fully understand what you mean, if you are talking about a desktop computer. However, there are no number pad keys on a laptop, so please, consider that!

ReplyDeleteBut when you end the line and press 'Enter', it does not automatically create a bullet in the next line too, does it.
Is there a way for that, or should I just do the bulleting again each time.
